I'm the person behind Valerie Schaff & Co.,

based in San Diego, California.

Motherhood changed the way I see the world. It made me more aware of how quickly life moves, how ordinary days become the ones we miss, and how much meaning can live in a moment we didn't even realize we wanted to remember.

I'm drawn to the unplanned laughter, the familiar way two people reach for each other, and the little details that might seem insignificant now but mean everything years from today.

My approach is much the same. I want you to feel comfortable enough to be yourself, without worrying about getting everything right. I'll gently guide you when you need it, pay attention to the little things, and leave room for the moments that happen naturally.

Outside of photography, I'm a wife and mama, a creative at heart, and someone who loves finding beauty in everyday life. My faith is an important part of who I am, shaping the way I see people, relationships, and the stories I'm trusted to tell.
